Welcome to the new webpage of the Czech Society for Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
CSOT is a non-profit organisation representing and promoting interests of orthopaedic surgeons in the Czech Republic. Our endeavour is to keep the significant position of orthopaedics and traumatology of the locomotor system among other medical branches in the Czech system of medical care and to provide orthopaedic and traumatological care of best quality to patients. The way to achieve this objective is a quality system of education and a continuing and open discussion of particular issues of our branch. A trend which we are trying to follow too is training courses and simulation medicine. What is equally important is to efficiently influence payment and legislative processes determining good and dignified practice in our branch. This objective requires not only cohesion of our Society but mainly consolidation of relations with the legislative bodies. Thus, it is important to keep our representatives informed of the development related to our Society.
Both internal and external communication should be facilitated by this new webpage. I firmly believe that you will like it and that it will become an indispensable part of our professional life.
